Caloundra Open Day Carnival
- These events are a fun day out for the family
- They offer a friendly competition and your athlete will meet and make friends with other athletes
- Most carnivals/pentathlons allow athletes U6 to U17 to nominate and compete
- Medals are usually awarded
- Please be aware - it is the responsibility of the parent to advise our Chief Recorder of the athlete's attendance at these competitions
- The chief recorder will add the athletes results to the Caloundra LA ResultsHQ system and club away records (If relevant) will be updated

The Spring Carnival is held each year at the Bundaberg Region Athletics Facility and is open to all U7 – U17 LAQ registered athletes. Spring Carnival 100m Gift Races are also included in the program. The first placed athletes in the U9 – U17 age groups are offered an opportunity to compete in a handicapped race using starting distances calculated on each competing athlete’s 100m times. There will be multi-class events & introducing the FAST Program for Tiny Tot's and U6's.

Coles Summer Carnival
The Summer Carnival aims to give all registered athletes in U7 – U17 age groups the opportunity to take part in a large-scale competition, without any of the pressures associated with a Championship. Summer Carnival 100m Gift Races are also included in the program. The first placed athletes in the U9 – U17 age groups are offered an opportunity to compete in a handicapped race using starting distances calculated on each competing athlete’s 100m times.
Additionally it allows the athletes of the U13 age group to register performances that the State Team Selectors may need to refer to later in the season when selecting the State Team. Multi-class athletes will be included.

McDonald’s Combined Event Championships
The Combined Event Championships is for U9 – U17’s and offers participation for U7 – U8’s in set combined events. There will be multi-class combined events.
