Friday Night Competition - what to expect
Warm up begins after 5.30pm
Registered athletes should arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure competition starts on schedule.
During athlete warm up, ALL parents, including Tiny Tot parents will be asked to listen to important information and centre updates via the Centre Manager's address.
Little Athletics is time for busy parents and their kids to interact together in a fun healthy environment.
Our volunteer CLAC committee and returning families are always there to support and guide new parents. Little athletics depends on many volunteers and tasks can be as simple as raking sand, collecting shot puts or place judging.
Some families, maybe more prefer an occasional night helping in the canteen or cooking on the BBQ.
Set up and Pack up helpers are always welcome.
We encourage bringing the family together in this healthy outdoor sport where parents and children can meet in a safe and supportive environment to socialise with others sharing a similar interest.
Friday competition nights and training sessions are not drop off centres and no children are to be left at the field without a guardian or parent present.
Under 6 to Under 17
After warm up, athletes will line up behind their age group trolley bag and the Age Managers will direct them and helper parents to their first event.
Once the season commences athletes U6 to U8 will compete in 4 events & U9 to U17 will complete in 5.
Tiny Tot's - Born 2018 and 2019*
